Congolese Refugee Women Association Congolese Refugee Women Association (CRWA) was established by African refugee women from Congo as a self help community organisation in 1996 with the aim to address the issues Congolese / French speaking women and their children encounter as refugee or Asylum seekers living in UK such as hardship, isolation, depression, language barrier, employment, and gender related violence, rape, and torture. The Association aims to: * Raise awareness on the issues that affect the target community. * Advocate for their rights and entitlements. * Empower, encourage women to access education, training and microfinance, employability so that they are better able to integrate and achieve their potential. * Promote child and women welfare and social care world wide.
